Anything new from VR?
I am wondering what if anything if VR is coming out w/ something new in the near future? I have heard claims of this, but absolutely nothing from VR. Anyone?

Typically, they don't talk about anything new until it's out. However, don't hold your breath. I've been waiting for a Spectre stealthy version of the V1 for a while now but I doubt it will ever happen.
Since their patent on the "directional arrows" technique has expired I'd expect others to start doing this too. They'll have to come up with something else to help keep their competitive edge in the area of innovation. I hope they do.

Rather interesting. Although, I highly doubt v1 will do much. Rumor has it they may. Although, something tells me to not focus on it, because lately they haven't been very innovative in their mentalities.

The last new thing they did was POP, if I'm not mistaken. They do incrementally improvements pretty much periodically, although some of their changes are due to different hardware parts. I'd love to see something new, but like I said, don't hold your breath.
Cheers.

Cheer's LOL I haven't heard that since MR. Aussie. now your messing me up . Pop was a major improvement I still like the J out feature myself. Although it is hard to trust when you know it locks out sometimes legit signals. No machine is perfect is always my fear.

PoP on sure turns the V1 into a k band Q/T monster though! Conversly turning PoP on on a belscort does nothing. I gotta say though the rampant speculation regarding VR's "upcoming" or NOT new whatever is oh so tiring.

I'm actually getting a kick out of it. I like making up speculation about what Valentine Research could come up with. Like multiple phased array antennas for the V2. And it will be designated the AN/SPY-V1 by the military. LOL.

I don't think they're up to anything. It's just fun to make believe they are. Like how about an EMP burst from the V1 upon verified detection that takes out all radar guns within the immediate area? Oh yeah, that would be illegal wouldn't it? Darn.
BTW, I've been real busy lately. I'm taking a little time at lunch to be here. I'll be posting more when things slow down for me.

The EMP burst idea I like regardless of legality. Though one would have to have a carburetter engine? Though, if you had a relic of a car in good shape. H mm, per-say maybe a old dodge charger, or mustang, possibly even a vette. Then perhaps that would be extremely effective. Hard to chase someone when you can't start your motor.

That's why I wear a tin-foil hat. Just in case, mind you. I'm pretty sure I could easily rig one for my engine's ECU.

Hmm interesting. Would there be a way to shield your ECM so that it does not take the plunder. That's a daunting question I am very interested to know?

I hear tinfoil actually helps conduct the signals better. So if your CPU was just temporarily knocked out before it would be toast for sure with foil.

Though wouldn't the tinfoil keep the radiation of the fake nuke electrical jar to the component out of the circuitry enough not to harm your own controll box??
V1 3.891 Released!
Firmware 3.891 was just released. There is a thread on RD.net about it.

It includes TSR, but not much else is known about it at this point.

Hmm perhaps a slight sensitivity boost on Ka band would be nice for off-axis 35.5ghz detection. Maybe one day Mike Valentine will listen to the masses on this huge problem.

The new Savy device is new but at a cost of $80, I can wait. GPS filtering through your OBD2 sensor based on your speed.

Hmm TSR in a v1? That could prove very handy. Considering another new v1 now.
