LI fails in a Reigl traffi patrol XR false Fashion. I find this amusing, since it was 1 yr prior and the same error occured on my LI's. After purchasing a set of used blinder laser jamming transcivers that are still functional today. Yet the, "Brand New" LI jamming transciver's failed in less time. This will be my, "Last LI purchase."

My recommendtions are; stay clear of LI due to failure issues, Head fatigue, electronics failure, jamming failure. I would recommend blinder over LI unfortunetly as LI has more jamming power I adamantly beleive than blinder. Although, blinder has more durablity. It's a firm toss up. If you have hundrends of dollar's to throw down the shoot, buy LI's, if you don't buy a Blinder.

Like I have said before, is LI a good LJ? Yes. Is it consistent, that is debatable. Does it work well w/ off axis laser shots on the rear of a vehicle? Yes. But each vehicle is different to shoot laser towards which changes things also. I just tested the LI setup protias has and he did a pretty good job at installing his LI's. They also performed quite well against my two lidar guns.

I've had a minor problem with my LI's (sun interference alert going off constantly), which Cliff corrected immediately by replacing the defective head.

I recently went through about 4 CPU's that failed due to the external speaker in my setup shorting out the audio circuit in the LI. Cliff was nice enough to replace all 4 free of charge.

Any product can have a problem, especially along the lines of equipment such as this. How a company handles it is ultimately how a product's reputation will be perceived. We tested about 4 Blinder X7 series setup's yesterday and all had problems, that I and other believe are either hardware or software related. The only blinder system that did not have problems was a 3 year old X5 series that performed as you would expect, a few small close range PT's. I think Blinder has an issue that they are just becoming aware of, and I'm confident they will handle this problem with great customer service as well. however if you are one of the ones that have a problem you might end up being a little peeved at Blinder.

I love my LI's and think Cliff does a remarkable job keeping his customers satisfied. I recommend you let Cliff try and solve the problem for you. once it's corrected, you can easily sell the system if you have no confidence in it's ability.

I can not say it often enough, these systems need to be tested as often as we can. We have to be perfect every time, the LEO only needs to be luck once!!!

Blinder is all software right now. Trust me when I say this, when the new software comes out you guys will be amazed.
