Please use this section for the discussion of the VG2 RDD aka the VG2 Radar Detector, Detector. These are devices used in some provinces of Canada, France, and many other countries to tell if you are use countermeasures such as Radar Detector's by searching for low emissions let off of the Local Oscillator used to scan for radio wave transmissions from the radar gun. They warn the officer of a presence of a Radar Detector for ticketing purposes. They are rectangular and boxy in design. Often have a round magnetic ring on the bottom. These also used to be used in places in the usa such as Virgina, and Washington DC. Possibly on military bases. Although as a X-soldier I never witnessed one being used. I guess anything is possible since Radar Detector's are outlawed on all military reservation's.
