Senior engineer Craig Autio of Whistler passes away

We in this radar detector community are very sadened to inform you that Craig Autio who was the senior engineer for Whistler passed away this weekend. Craig worked at Whistler for 26 years. We shall say prayers for the family. We need to all support Michael B during this time of tragedy since he worked w/ Craig. Mr. B, words can only begin to say how sorry I am. You are a strong man and our prayers will be w/ you. rdetectingman

Sorry that i've been away so long. Producing films is highly time consuming, as well as building new workstations to develop them. My deep condolences go out to Michael B and all the whistler team mates in this instance, let's keep them in our mind in our drive today. I think this board should all give whistler a moment of silence. These engineers are the ones that make it possible for you and me to detect these guys out there. They gave budget minded drivers a means of protection, and it is sad to see a esteemed colleague expire on such short notice.
