Considering getting a new blinder laser jammer. Would be nice to have something new for once since it's been so long, and I think I deserve some new protection. Gotta do stuff to protect your interest's once in awhile to stay up to date cause if not and you get too behind your toast!

Highly considering a new blinder laser jammer Empty Well the consideration is increasing

Post by RemoteInstall Wed Sep 15, 2010 7:01 am

Well after vast research on this issue it would seem to look like blinder is still a great option for me. I think perhaps I have decided what to get with my year end tax return this year. Wink By then blinder should have a new rev out, and we'll see what these new blinder head's can do. I'm not normally into beta testing although hey what the hell. Why not? I know blinder makes a good product. So I am willing to give this one a try.

Right now I would make sure if I bought a Blinder that I did extensive testing before I trusted it much. But then again that applies to any jammer system.

Blinder right now seems to either have some component failures or software issues, I don't know which. 'm testing the new software Saturday with Rocky2 so I'll let everyone know how it performs.

Blinder just shipped me a completely new M47 recently due to an issue I was having. One head was much more sensitive than the other 3 while in parking mode, and Leon did not have any more v. 102 heads...my new system will be all v. 105 heads. Hopefully I won't have any more problems once I get it (re)installed!!!

AFAIK, it is 2.6. I haven't hooked the CPU up to my PC yet.

I've been w/o laser protection for too long. In 2009, I encountered zero laser encounters (alerted, or visual). I did see a few CHP campouts running laser (and I listen in on my scanner), but overall zip for 2009.

Beginning this year, I have seen or been hit with laser about 12 times, with one very lucky save in Oregon.

My car should be easy to protect with Blinder, 2010 Civic, charcoal gray, black mask, very little frontal area. Due to my out-of-state extended stay in Florida, I won't even be using my personal vehicle after this week, until January. So on my return trip to Utah in January, I should be fitted with Blinders.

Watch out as some reports of actual x band being used in Florida have really shocked me as of recently.

Keep on thinking that x band is a myth and you "may" see those disco lights in your mirror pal. You never know when you might find x band radar being used. Yes this poses a problem.

I run across x band about once or twice a year. It's still out there, but it's mostly in very rural areas.

Next time I run across it I'll make sure to post up the video of it. I've only seen it 3 times since I moved to GA and that was NC and MD.
