Valentine one to possibly add Spectre RDD stealth capabilities?
Rumor on the block has it that the Valentine One is being discussed to inside engineers of the possibility of stealthing their detector to the Spectre IV+ Elite RDD of Stealth Micro Systems Inc of Australia. What are your opinions? Do you believe that Valentine One is working on their own answer to Spectre RDD's in America? Do you think they are just going to leave things the way they are? What are your thoughts?

I'll believe it when I see it. VR is sitting on their laurels.

I think VR should be the first to alert to Laser Ally like they where with stealth mode Lidar.

I'm sure the V1 (and other RDs) will alert to it now, unless they use either a really slow pulse rate, or a really fast one.RemoteInstall wrote:I think VR should be the first to alert to Laser Ally like they where with stealth mode Lidar.

V1 alerts to it, at least according to Dragon.

Re: Valentine one to possibly add Spectre RDD stealth capabilities?
Well atleast a ticket notifier shall be given. Like with my Redline the other day vs an LTi Ultralyte I did not even get a single ticket notifier. Not a warning from Blinder, nor Redline. I was disappointed to say the least. The officer was slightly off axis, and aiming out of the drivers side window in jersey. Though, when I had LI's they picked him up just fine. Totally weird. My blinders always used to JTG the ultralyte it just makes me perhaps wonder if they have created a new algorithm for the Ultralytes to and perhaps upgraded them via 232 port?

Yes I am I saw him aiming. I saw the double lenses open to my face. I saw him targeting and panning. I saw the blue, and black on the lidar. It was definitely in operation, as he nailed the car directly behind me. I visual-ed him enough to ease off and was only doing 6-7 over psl. Thus letting off put me at like 4-5 over psl. Meaning I was not worth it, even though in a double fines section. Got lucky my eyes saw him. He definitely shot right at me. Due to my amazing eye's and practicing and shooting lidar for years, and knowing what to look for and where. No ticket. The sweeping technique really works well.

Knowing that he was shooting lidar is not a high five for the Redline, then after the lidar came an abrupt swing onto the freeway to nab a motorist behind me. I heard two short blips of the X-Band on my Redline, "Right After the second blip Red's and Blue's and he light up the motorist directly to my rear about to pass me now that I had slowed."
I guess it truly pays to study this stuff, and know what your up against and that just because I had electronics that day, I knew I was not fully protected. I knew what I was up against and the information from this forum saved my bacon. I knew that 500 dollar detector was NOT ENOUGH in NJ. Thus I was running far slower than normal, just for that basis. This guy looking to pass me was not so lucky, and not so smart. Hence, now he has a bill to the government.
I totally agree with Mike Valentine from Valentine Research when he says, "Situational Awareness is key." This term is used in the military still today, and this is why. Knowing what, and whom your up against is crucial. Lastly how those systems are utilized, and emplaced in practice can save you putting your self in the kill zone.

Re: Valentine one to possibly add Spectre RDD stealth capabilities?
So, where did you hear this rumor from?
V1 is always seems to be telling us that the next new thing is right around the corner but nothing new ever really comes. At least not for several years now, other than software upgrades. Spectre immunity seems to me a hardware change. I don't really believe it, but hope I'm wrong.

Re: Valentine one to possibly add Spectre RDD stealth capabilities?
VR does not seem to care about the immunity factor. I think perhaps they just do not want to be to blame for the use of Radar Detectors in area's they are considered illegal by providing such immunity. It is amazing that Escort/Beltronics Inc. USA has not yet been sued by the officers community on the basis of funding a means of obstructing justice.
