Got slammed with X-Band Radar last night Constant on! NJ STPD!!!
Got slammed with constant on X-band radar last night!! NJ ST PD in the median constant on X!!?!! What the heck gives? First it was laser, then K band, then Ka band, then pacing attempts, then constant on X band. Wow. It sure seems like NJ is taking their enforcement to the next level all. Please be on your game in NJ. Driver beware.

What I would do to get slammed by some x band radar while I am driving my vehicle. That must have been a rush man.

I've been slammed by X band many times in NJ. I wonder how many people get nabbed because of them having X band turned off? That would suck.

Yea.
Yea, I have been slammed by X-Band in NJ now many times. I have encountered it at least 4 different times in my travels through there.
This is the reason I always have it on. I agree it would truly suck to get slammed, and receive a ticket with X. I actually forgot one time to turn it on, and I remembered here just recently before I finished crossing the bridge on I-80 at the Delaware Water Gap Bridge. Next thing I know I get a 3 second blip of Faint X on the Escort Redline. The before I know it the first on rap i pass Way below me to my right. Wham to my rear I/O X I was like wow nice save by the Redline, though it did not give me very much off axis to the rear detection. Though I must say that is not an easy warning to provide. Due to the way the beam travels through time, and space not once colliding with much to give you a reflection; of course this being the officers intention.

What do you think of Redline? After running with this one for 5 months, I'm "satisfied" with it's performance. Sometimes stunned by how good it is and sometimes ho hum. Guess that's the case with any rd right? I do have to say that I'm going to wind up getting another V1. I was really and truly hoping that escort was going to come up wiith an update for band seg and rdr. Don't think it's going to happen though and I ain't waiting.

Yea, thus far I would have to say I am semi disappointed in my Redline. It has let me down in certain radar scenarios that are very questionable to the mind why an alert was not given. It has let me down in every single lidar encounter. My v1 has not done this for me. Either it needs a peak and tweak, or the trash can in my .02. It has definitely let me down more than it has saved me. That's the honest to god truth. I have had far more saves from my v1. Then again my v1 has been letting me down too anymore? Though, atleast it lets me down less and goes off when I am being point blankly lasered visually.
