Ohio Deputy's Gun, Radio Taken From Personal Vehicle
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- The handgun, Tazer, handcuffs and other equipment belonging to a Clark County Sheriff's deputy were stolen from his personal vehicle early Thursday morning.
Clark County Sheriff Gene Kelly said the off-duty deputy went to a friend's house in the 600 block of South Arlington Road and left his gun belt and other belongings inside the locked vehicle.
When the deputy went out to his car on Thursday morning, he discovered that someone had smashed the driver's side window of his vehicle and took a .45-caliber Glock semi-automatic handgun, a Tazer with fpir cartridges, his portable radio, extra ammunition and handcuffs. All the items are valued at around $3,000.
Kelly said the theft was entered into the Homeland Security National Database as a stolen weapon. Authorities also found another vehicle in a nearly alley that had been broken into as well.

That's messed up.
This is funny. Perhaps maybe these retarded officers will now stop leaving their cars unattended running while in the doughnut shop.

Theres only one problem with that.
There is only one problem with that. You have to know the new key they plug into the radios every 24hrs to be able to transmit. The worst part. That key is not sent out in the transmission like that of dvd encryption which sucks. Thus decrypting it is a very tedious task. Though, yes you could hear them for 24hrs, but when that 24 is up wham right back to where you are now having no ears.
