This officer was running one deadly trap here. The average motorist might have thought it was some outdated speed sign or, maybe just some sort of door sensor or security system. Though, this was definitely legitimate radar mobile X. This is becoming more, and more common as high end detector users are turning off this still legally usable today band. Be forewarned. I myself have encountered a determined Leo in NJ pursuing me with constant on X from the median. Luckily I knew that NJ SPD utilizes X-Band Radar equipment. Just because it is old does not mean it is not still out there, or not in use. There are lots of places that re-certify this equipment, and also reestablish this equipment to working order. Such as places like, "PBELECTRONICS." Also known as, "Paul Buse Electronics." He services a wide range of radar's, and Lidar guns Kustom signals, decatur, stalker, mph industries; as well as Laser Tech Inc, Kustom Signals lidar, Stalker Lidar. Keep this in mind while on the roadways.

That was actually on the 80/90 toll road in South Bend. I ran into some X band in Northern Indiana occasionally from mostly county cops.

Was x-banded twice today with the Escort Redline . It faired very well saving me well over 420 dollars!

Wow bringing me back to the last time I got x band which was in Indiana also while using my Escort X50 and it did a great job at detecting x band radar. County cop running x band on a side road next to the Indiana turnpike. Getting smacked w/ x band radar makes my day since it doesn't happen all that often

X Band is alive and well in the state of Indiana! The Hancock County Sheriff (Greenfield) also runs X band along I-70 just east of Indy.
