Escort 9500i Lockout Fail !!!
YouTube - Escort 9500i Lockout Fail
When I started the video I was right next to the false alert source and the cop was ahead of me running C/O K band. It locked out the false and the cop. Then as I go down the road it keep locking the cop out and the GPS icon was still spinning even though I was a good distance from the false location. I had to unlock the signal to get it to alert to K band. Total Fail !!! My understanding is there is a radius around the false location and when I get out of the radius it should alert again, but the radius just keep growing as long as the cop is in front on me.

Be "very" careful when locking out any k band signal w/ a 9500i/ix.

When I tested visualestimate's GX-65 it did the same thing. It locked out real LEO's quite a distance away from the local CVS where I manually locked out the door sensors. I do not have much confidence in GPS lockout. If you drove in areas where the LEO's don't use K band very much you might be able to get away with it. Otherwise, I would not chance it.

.....and why I'm selling my iX. The autolearn spooks the poop out of me! Also, frankly, I was never too impressed with the M4's performance in the hills and twisties. Too many close calls even with C/O.
