New Lidar Laser speed gun being tested in Florida
Breaking news on a new lidar laser speed gun now being tested in central Florida university. This new lidar gun is allegedly proposed to be undetectable, and in other word's "frequency hopping." It is going to be able to hop pulse rates within the elctromagnetic spectrum. Meaning no audiable alarm to the lidar gun, no jamming algotherm to combat it. Thus making any laser jammer useless. Blinder Laser Jammer's inc of Denmark has announced that it is testing a new algotherm to combat this new lidar gun, and hopes to unveil it later next year, 2011. Let's hope blinder has there game together. We are going to need all the help we can on this one blinder. This disturbing new's comes just after the release of TruSpeed less than 1yr ago. Which was yet another attempt at jammer user's throat's it sure would seem that the jammer war's are on with the laser gun manufactuer companies. They are, "Not" happy about being jammed. They are definetly attempting to fight back. Let's hope blinder has the good's up their sleave or else we may have to be in the right lane .

I still believe a jammer like the LE-10 would be very effective as it only looks for 904nm sources and then fires. Crude but I think effective.

Can anyone pull out one of those Lidatek LE-10 LJ's out of the vault and perform some testing w/ one for us?

I have one and when the GA group tests again I'm putting the LE-10 on to test.
Hopefully BG is testing it with the Laser Ally to see how it performs.

I really hope I can find a LE-10.

If you don't have one you will have a hard time finding one. I looked for 2 years before I found one and that was just a stroke of luck!!

That was why I said I really hope to find one.

"Extremely" difficult to find an LE-10. Luck of the draw at this point.

Yes the laser ally
Yes the Laser Ally. Expensive lidar gun to say the least. Rdetectingman know's more about this perticular lidar unit. Haven't done my homework on it just yet. I do know it is in the work's now, also it is now IACP approved for home office use. It is probably being tested in the southern states. It can easily defeat the LI, and current Blinder Laser jamming format's without breaking a sweat. This is very mission critical that we get our hands on one of these for testing purposes. It is also critical that the LJ companies get their hand's on them. As of right now the only LJ I have heard of that has their hands on this device is Blinder USA. They are testing alg's against it as we speak today in Fla. Let's pray that they find an answer. This lidar is extremely difficult to jam, it has a shifting frequency lidar index, in which it in essence freq hop's from one frequency of IR light in nm to the next. One minute you may be at 904nm the next you may be at 901nm so, with that in mind perhaps the LE-10 isn't the answer. If it's only jamming 904nm this gun is a different animal all together. Although I have heard rumors to that the LE-10 can jam it. This is merely rumor, I have yet to see the documentation. It would seem to me, that based on how the gun operates, this wouldn't be of help either. It seem's a new jammer is definately in order here. Please keep working hard blinder to offer us all an answer.

So that is why the blinder will have an easier time jamming it. As we all know, Laser diodes ( LI, LPP, ALG9, etc) system puts lots of power on the 905nm frequency but almost nothing away from that, while LED's tend to deliver constant power on a broader range of nm.
